Introduction

CentreStack makes it easy to backup to online storage services. It supports CentreStack Storage, SkyDrive, Google Drive, Box, Amazon S3, OpenStack Swift, HP Cloud, Rackspace Cloud Files, EMC Atmos, Nirvanix, Windows Azure, Google Cloud Storage and many other cloud storage services.

You can right click a folder and select "backup". The folder will be backed up to online storage services after making a few simple selections.

Problem Statement

You have signed up for Amazon S3, Windows Azure Storage, Google Cloud Storage or any other cloud storage services that doesn't offer integrated backup solution. However, backup to online storage is the primary reason you are using online storage service.

Previous Options

There are online backup services that specialize in backup, such as Carbonite and Mozy. However, there are even more online storage services providing general purpose storage service, such as Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Windows Azure and HP Cloud Storage. You would like to use the general purpose storage services from Amazon, Microsoft, Google or HP. You are looking for a backup solution that works with the storage service of your choice.

CentreStack Solution

CentreStack allows you to access online storage directly from a desktop PC or file server. Backing up is as easy as selecting a folder and setting some backup options.

Solution - CentreStack Desktop Client

CentreStack Desktop Client has integrated backup methods, allowing you to backup to online storage services.

Summary

CentreStack provides easy to use online backup solutions for the storage services you choose.
